Jeff Base has worked in the oilfield industry since he was 14 years old. He & his father Clint Base owned and operated many different aspects of the industry over the years.
Jeff moved to Kingman county to build compressors for Sunrise Oilfield Supply in the early 2000's.
Cari Jo (Patterson) Base was working for KDOT as an equipment operator at Anthony Ks. Being the youngest of six children in a cattle/farming/rodeo family, Cari Jo knew very little about the oilfield.
They met on the golf course in Anthony, where all of her things were pink. Cari Jo likes pink because of a dear little girl that passed away at the age of 3. In 2008 they were married. In 2011 they decided to start thier own business called "Ridge Enterprises, LLC", Jeff's dad owned ground along the Cleveland Ridge, hence the name "Ridge". The company logo was created and the color of pink was choosen in memory of her little friend.
As the business grew from a 40'X40' shop at thier home in rural Kingman county, another 40'X40' was added. In 2015, the business moved into the city of Kingman in a 240'X100' building that was already completed with offices, conference room, break room, parts room and restrooms.
